A Macclesfield charity is looking to bring joy to children in a war-torn country this holiday season.
One Project Ukraine has launched its annual Christmas shoebox appeal.
Having sent 1,554 boxes filled with gifts across to Ukraine last year, OPU are hoping to make an even bigger impact this time round.
Co-founder Jeanette Rice said: "Almost four years into the conflict, Ukrainian children are still facing daily hardship.
"A simple shoebox can bring joy, comfort, and a reminder that they're not forgotten.
"By supporting One Project Ukraine's appeal, our community can send hope where it's needed most."

Jeanette and her husband Craig launched One Project Ukraine following Russia's invasion in February 2022.
That Christmas, they sent 650 gift-filled shoeboxes over to the war-torn country.
This figure grew to 1,150 in 2023 and 1,554 in 2024.
Those looking to support the appeal this year are asked to fill a shoebox with a variety of Christmas gifts, including toys, crafts, toiletries and clothing accessories.
The deadline to donate is Thursday, December 11.
