A Macclesfield chef can be heard on the airwaves today, as he makes his national radio debut.
Chef Kenny Wilson, who works for The Knot Inn and Heaton House Farm in Rushton Spencer, has recently become known for his poetry.
Earlier this year, Kenny released the poetry book The Devil Wears a Kitchen Apron.
The book contains, short, emotionally-charged poems from the life and times of Kenny's 40 plus years in kitchens.
And this Wednesday afternoon, Kenny will feature on BBC Radio 6 Music to talk about his new book.
Kenny will appear on Craig Charles' radio show, today at 2:30pm. You can listen VIA THIS LINK.
Craig Charles is said to be a big fan of spoken poetry.
"I was totally blown away that he loved my book," said Kenny.
"Plus he's a top guy too, hope you can tune in Wednesday.
"And thank you to everyone for their support of the book."
The book, which is penned in a street poetry style, includes a poem which compares a kitchen to a war zone.
Another, in a recipe-style format, describes what traits or 'ingredients', as it were, makes a top chef.
This summer, the book also won an award.
Kenny was raised in Upton Priory, and now lives in Hurdsfield.
You can buy his book at Proper Sound on Chestergate's east side, or via this link.
Chester Road salon Wilsons Hairdressing, which is owned by Kenny's sister, also sells the book.
