Whilst unconfirmed, 27 Charlotte Street could become a bar.

There is a Life & Soul Limited in Congleton, who have the tagline 'exceptional food drink and service'.

Life and Soul already run a bar mere feet away from Charlotte Street, being Rumba Macclesfield on Pickford Street.

They also run the Crazy Moose bar in Congleton on 18 Lawton Street. (As well as another Rumba in Congleton.)

The bar company was contacted by Macclesfield Nub News for comment.

A spokesperson replied with: "We can confirm that we have a premises licence application for the Charlotte Street premises.

"We are at the beginning of a long process of applications, the results of which will dictate what we are able to develop at the site."
