A drug dealer from Macclesfield has been jailed.

Aaron Bradley appeared at Chester Crown Court on Friday, September 18, where he was sentenced to 45 months in prison.

The 35-year-old, of Somerton Road in Macclesfield, had earlier pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely cocaine, and possession of class B drugs, namely cannabis.

Following the sentencing Detective Constable Jamie Roberts, said: "While Bradley is now behind bars, our campaign against drug dealers is ongoing and we're committed to doing all we can to can to stop drug activity on the streets of Macclesfield and make Cheshire a hostile place for criminals.

The case against him began on Friday, May 29, when police were called to reports of a disturbance at a hotel on Gawsworth Road, Congleton.

Staff reported that the occupants were due to check-out at 12pm, but instead they had barricaded themselves inside the room.

They also reported concerns over the behaviour of the couple, who had been repeatedly going back and forth to cars which attended the car park for a short period before leaving.

Officers attended and gained entry into the room where they located Bradley, along with a woman. The pair were arrested and during a search Bradley was found in possession of £740 cash.

During a search of the room, officers also located a significant quantity of drugs-related materials, including several mobile phones, snap bags and digital scales.

Following his arrest, a search was undertaken at Bradley's home address in Lyme Green, where officers recovered further drugs-related materials along with a large quantity of designer watches and footwear.

Bradley was interviewed in relation to the discoveries, before being released on conditional bail. However, on Friday, June 26, Bradley was circulated as wanted by HM Prison and Probation Service, in relation to a breach of a community order.

Following enquiries officers received information that he was residing at an address on Somerton Road in Macclesfield. Police attended the property on Wednesday, August 5, and Bradley was located and arrested.

While at the address, police discovered further drugs-related materials, mobile phones and a Suron style electric bike.

Messages discovered on the phones seized during the investigation also showed that Bradley was actively involved in the commercial supply of cocaine.

DC Roberts added: "As a result of the evidence we have gathered during this investigation it is clear that Bradley was actively involved in the commercial supply of illegal drugs, and I welcome the sentence that has been handed to him."
