2022 is becoming quite a year for the Elvis Presley revival. And a Macclesfield venue is really celebrating The King.

As well as being the only place in Macclesfield to show the new biopic about the American singer, Cinemac on Roe Street is also going to host an Elvis tribute act.

British performer J D King's promises a 'World Leading Elvis Experience', coming to Macclesfield later this year.

"We've got something very exciting here," said Jordan Wilson of Cinemac.

It will be Cinemac's fifth tribute concert.

"JD King (the UK's best Elvis) is coming to Cinemac on Friday January 13, 2023.

"Following our successful Abba and Queen tributes, we're delighted to welcome another one of the nation's leading tribute acts."

Expect plenty of tunes from Elvis' Christmas Album, with the event taking place just nine days before Christmas Day.

Tickets start from £15. The evening starts at 7:30pm.

The biography of the tribute to the Suspicious Minds singer reads "J D King is an exceptional artist, and so much more than a tribute."

"In 2019 J D King was officially inducted into the international Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame making him officially recognised as one of the greatest Elvis impersonators in the world.

"J D has appeared many times on UK Television prominently, featuring in high profile programmes.

"He recently starred in an exclusive two hour Elvis documentary for Channel 5, where his personality, knowledge and charisma brought rave reviews."
