A Bollington beauty business has a new address, and celebrated with an open day at the weekend.

Evaya Beauty, operated by Natalie Chater-Poole and Aral Chater-Poole, of 63A Wellington Road, has expanded into the unit downstairs at 63 Wellington Road.

This now means the business will be spread across two floors, and can be entered from their new unit where The Flower House used to be.

And the good news was celebrated with an open day on Saturday. Macclesfield Nub News went down to the newly-improved Evaya Beauty to find out more.

"Evaya is a family run business in the heart of Bollington," said Natalie.

"Aral and I have two daughters and live just round the corner from the salon.

"We originally met in Cyprus and when you see the new salon space there's a definite nod to Cyprus there. The name Evaya originates from their daughters' middle names Eva and Aya.

"I have always been interested in the beauty industry, and ran a salon abroad in Cyprus before moving back to the UK.

"But moved back to the UK to Bollington in May 2014, and launched Evaya Beauty as a mobile business in 2021.

"We do services from all nail treatments, to brows, lashes, massages, facials, B12 injections, dermaplaining, microneedling, and microblading."

Natalie ran a salon from a room in their Bollington home for six years. The business was doing so well, that they decided to graduate into a physical premises.

But this move-in date was July 4 2021, a date already challenging as the final COVID restrictions had just been lifted, but also because it was the same day they decided to move houses to another one in Bollington!

Natalie's husband Aral was made redundant in the first lockdown. So Aral, a former online marketing manager in the hair industry, got involved with the business.

Fast-forward to today, Evaya Beauty has expanded into downstairs, and has now officially launched as a two-floored salon. The open party took place on Saturday October 19 from 4pm to 6pm. They gave offers to customers, and gave everyone the chance to find more about what Evaya Beauty is all about over a glass of fizz.

"Saturday served as a thank you to the clients that have got to this point, and be a celebration of us taking on downstairs," said Aral.

"Our clients have been amazing. They even offered to help us with the move, and to help out on Saturday. We want to especially thank Carli who as a massive help on the day," added Natalie.

"We appreciate the support from Bollington, Tytherington and Macclesfield," said Aral.

"With the internet, we have clients from everywhere too.

"And having that on street presence with the new unit, helps people who do not find us from social media or are not from around here too," said Natalie.

"We are going to introduce chemical peels, more microneedling and space treatments as well thanks to the move.

"We hope to get more treatments as we settle in downstairs soon.

Evaya Beauty is open every day but Sunday, with Thursday having late night hours of 11am to 8pm. The business boasts a five-star rating on Google Reviews. Evaya Beauty is open every day but Sunday, with Thursday having late night hours of 11am to 8pm. (Image - Evaya Beauty)

"The nails side of the business is really established now, we want to do more spa too.

"We have a new podiatrist and teeth whitening professional starting downstairs as well.

"From day one, we always wanted to have a salon on the high-street, it has a bit more of a presence, also so it is easier access for everyone.

"We took the business to the next level by expanding to downstairs, growing the Evaya team and gaining the space we needed.

"Furthermore, we have decided to keep our current premises upstairs, for facials and massage so it will be a relaxing space.

"Downstairs will be all our salon based treatments such as nails, pedicures, brows and lashes."

Plus, the new premises is not the only reason to celebrate.

And Aral and Natalie will celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary next year too. Here is what they had to say, on the key to working together as business and life partners.

"We are both quite driven, and are always on the same page," said Natalie.

"We are a great team and complement each other strengths," added Aral.

"I run all the finance side and booking system. I do facial and massage, Natalie runs the social media and trains new staff."

You can also get in touch with the business via [email protected].

"We have gone from one massage bed and one nail slash pedicure station, to nine treatment stations across two floors," revealed Natalie.

"We would like to say thank you for the support. A lot of clients really do become friends.

"We are overwhelmed by the support from the community, especially in Bollington.

"We did not know if we were going to go back into lockdown when we started, but from the start, the support from the village was incredible.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone into their new space."
