Macclesfield FC and Love Island star Tom Clare has got engaged.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, September 4, to announced his engagement to girlfriend Molly Smith.

The pair met on the first season of Love Island: All Stars in January 2024, going on to win the show.

Clare, who has been with the Silkmen on and off since 2021, popped the question while on holiday in Dubai.

"SHE SAID YES!!!," the forward posted on Instagram.

Macclesfield FC were quick to congratulate the happy couple, the club commenting: "Congratulations to you both!"

Many former Love Islanders have also shared messages of love and support.

Tasha Gouri, who many will know from her time on Strictly Come Dancing, wrote: "OMG!!!!!! The most gorge couple!!! Congratulations."

Andrew Le Plage commented: "Ahhh massive congratulations guys."

Meanwhile, Tom's Sister posted: "SCREAMING. My favourite people you deserve every happiness in the world!!!! Love you. BRING ON THE HEN."
