Macclesfield International Day for Solidarity with the Palestinian People

People gathered on Market Place yesterday, despite the sub-zero weather, to voice their support for Palestinian.
On Wednesday November 29, people in Macclesfield came together in the town centre to celebrate the International Day for Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
They carried the flag of Palestine and called for peace, freedom and justice in the Middle East.
An attendee said: "People here care about what happens in other parts of the world."
"They are concerned about the plight of all those involved in the current conflict in Israel and Palestine and even if unable to directly influence events hope for a peaceful resolution."
