Macclesfield: Jeff Lynne tribute to say 'ELO' to Gawsworth Hall
A tribute to 70s symphonic pop band Electric Light Orchestra will play a concert near Macclesfield next month.
ELO again will come to Gawsworth Hall in June.
We're so lucky to have a gorgeous black and white Tudor country house on our doorstep, and even luckier for it to have concerts there.
As well as their historic, stained-glass house which is a must see for all-ages, the Grade I manor home is known for hosting events.
And on their public opening day on June 25, they will also be hosting the first of their evening concerts.
Taking advantage of the late sunsets and calm weather, their garden theatre will welcome ELO Again on Saturday June 25.
One of the UK's leading tribute to the Birmingham rockers - who incorporated classical music instruments into their music - will play hits such as Livin' Thing and Mr. Blue Sky.
The homage to the Jeff Lynne-led band will take place in an iconic Macclesfield area venue.
Like all concerts and events at Gawsworth Hall, you can also bring your own garden furniture for those summer party vibes.
Tickets cost £25 per person, anyone over the age of six may attend.
Macclesfield Nub News' Editor will be in attendance.
