A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join The Picturedrome in Macclesfield.

The Chestergate food hall - which opened in 2019 - are hiring a new Assistant Manager with immediate effect.

In a statement, The Picturedrome said "We're dedicated to food, addicted in fact. Our team want to bring the best regional food they can find and lay it at your feet.

"We are currently recruiting an assistant manager to come and join our diverse team. We believe fiercely in independents and the importance of regional identity and we are looking for someone who shares that passion. 

"We need someone with the ability to lead from the front and provide their creative flair. Someone who is personable, with a passion for working with people. Hard working and dedicated. You will be responsible for day to day running of the food market and managing the front of house team so good communication and organization skills are essential. Previous management experience preferred but we are looking for innovative people who are keen to develop their skills.

Some sort of management experience is required, but it doesn't have to be in a food service capacity, although it may help.

Salary is dependent on experience.

You'll be working alongside the two General Managers, and you'll help oversee one of the busiest places in our town.

"You'll be working in one of the best - if not the best - food places in Macclesfield," said Jake Hall, General Manager.
