One of Macclesfield's Co-op's are hiring - and applications close this week.

The Customer Team Member Vacancy is our featured Macclesfield Job of the Week.

The Co-op on 246 Buxton Road - which has been a fixture of our town for generations - are after a new staff member to help out in their store.

It is a permanent part time position, which promises a £9.90 per hour salary, and at least 12 hours of work per week.

With original tiling, and countryside views, the Buxton Road Co-op is one beautiful store! And you could work in it...

There will be opportunities for regular paid overtime.

Shifts include 5pm - 10:15pm and weekends, meaning this could be a perfect accompaniment to a 9 to 5 job, or for someone else.

Full training will be given, so the only requirements are is that you are aged 18 or over, and are comfortable with the following duties:

"As a customer team member at Co-op, you'll provide friendly, thoughtful service, and be on hand to support customers whenever they need your help," said the job description.

The store is open from 7am to 10pm, but you may have to work earlier or later than then if required to get the store set up.

"You'll also make sure your store is in great shape –working as part of a team to replenish products and support deliveries.

Key attributes include friendliness, flexibility, and teamwork.

This job would also suit people who have strong problem solving skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with anyone.

There is parking towards the right of the store.

A great eye for presentation and attention to detail will also help when stacking those shelves!

The closing date is Wednesday April 27, but do not wait to apply. This is because the Co-op reserve the right to pull the listing down early, and select a candidate ahead of this date.

Two online assessments - which you should complete within half an hour - are required for this role.
