The Fallibroome Academy is after a Student Services Attendance & Administration Officer. It is one of hundreds of jobs added each week on the Macclesfield Nub News Jobs section.

The pay is NJC Grade 4, SCP 5-6 £15,946-£16,602. Working hours are 32.5 hours per week/38.2 weeks (Term-time only plus 1 day).

In a statement, the Macclesfield secondary school said: "The Fallibroome Academy is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in a lovely area on the edge of Macclesfield.

"We are fortunate to have supportive parents, a local community that values the school highly and pupils who are motivated and keen to learn. 

"The Fallibroome Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the Student Services Attendance & Administration Office position. 

"The successful candidate will provide administration support to the student services team and Heads of Year.

"The duties of the post are varied but include ensuring that all attendance registers are accurate and following up on any missing data.

"This will involve liaising with other staff, parents/guardians and external agencies. Other duties include administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, photocopying, filing and minute-taking."

Those who have done admin in other industries are welcome to apply, no previous experience working in education required.
