A Macclesfield lad who walked all the way to Ibiza in a pair of flip flops was treated to a surprise meet-up with his footballing heroes.
Henry Moore came out on top in the Social for Good category at this year's JustGiving Awards after walking nearly 1,200 miles to the Spanish party island for children's cancer charity Be More Fab.
The 22-year-old set off from Manchester on April 5, travelling across England, France and Spain, finishing his journey on June 29 and raising more than £57,000 through JustGiving.
After picking up the award, lifelong Manchester United fan Henry received a message from Mason Mount, who surprised him with a VIP matchday experience at Manchester United v Sunderland earlier this month.
Henry said: "I was in shock. I was absolutely chuffed when I heard the news about the JustGiving Award and to be invited to the director's box for the match. More importantly, I was thrilled to share this experience with my younger brother, Burt.
"Before the game started, we enjoyed dinner in the hospitality suite, which was amazing. Receiving a personal video message from Mason Mount made the day feel special, and watching him score his first goal at Old Trafford, with Manchester United winning, truly topped it all off.
"After the match, we were invited onto the pitch and met most of the players in the tunnel, who chatted with us, posed for photos, and signed this season's home shirt for us. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and my brother and I are very grateful to JustGiving for giving us a day we will never forget."

Henry was one of 20 finalists named for the 2025 JustGiving Awards this year, after more than 18,000 nominations were submitted by the public.
The finalists were shortlisted by an internal judging panel from JustGiving for the five new categories - Social for Good, Rising Star, Mind Over Miles, Stronger Together and Championing the Cause.
The Social for Good Award celebrates individuals who use their social media platforms to drive positive change.
Henry was selected as the overall winner of the category after being selected by a public vote.

Pascale Harvie, president and general manager of JustGiving, said: "After the incredibly tough job of whittling thousands of phenomenal nominees down to just 20 finalists, the public made a powerful choice.
"Walking 1,200 miles in flip-flops to support children with cancer clearly made Henry stand out.
"The way he has used his platform and his challenge to give back and to inspire others is simply phenomenal.
"We hope that his time with the Manchester United team will be an experience he will remember forever.
"From the entire JustGiving team, congratulations, Henry."
