Macclesfield man charged following reports of sexual assault involving delivery driver

Police have named a Macclesfield charged with sexual assault.

Matthew Evans, of Dale Street, was arrested on Friday, October 10.

It follows reports of incidents involving a delivery driver in the Macclesfield area between September 8 and 14.

Following his arrest, 54-year-old Evans has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and one count of stalking.

He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Crewe Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 29.
