Macclesfield: Masterchef 2023 runner-up to guest cook at Bollington restaurant

A man who almost won the BBC cooking contest MasterChef, is coming to a local restaurant.

Barnsley-based chef Omar Foster, will be a guest chef at Bollington Restaurant KIRA by Sunitha.

The Yorkshireman was runner-up in MasterChef 2023. Audiences fell in love with his personality, and Macclesfield foodies will be able to fall in love with his food this November.

Diners can even chat with Omar before sitting down for dinner the Palmerston Street place to eat.

The Bollington restaurant said: "We are so pleased to welcome our friend Omar to KIRA, where he will serve his signature dishes on Friday November 24 and Saturday November 25."

"This will be a bookable event so please drop us a message, call 01625 57575 or use our site to book in for this special KIRA event."

The event comes just weeks before KIRA will celebrate their first anniversary as a restaurant.
