The Mayor of Macclesfield is hosting a charity ball next month.

The event will take place in Macclesfield Town Hall, Market Place, and raise funds for two local charities.

The main fundraising drive on the night will be a charity auction.

All money raised on the evening will go to the Mayor's chosen charities, East Cheshire Eye Society (also of Market Place) and East Cheshire Hospice (of Millbank Drive).

Prizes so far range from a signed current season Manchester United football shirt, to a handmade pottery replica of The Picturedrome.

As part of the event, local band Outer Limit will be performing.

Tickets are £30 and include a welcome drink and 3 course dinner.
