Two Macclesfield men are celebrating the release of an album they recorded 37 years ago.
Paul Lucas and Pete McGuckian have signed a three-year licensing agreement with AOR BLVD Records.
This deal includes the release of an album the pair recorded with their Failsworth-based band Tora in the late 1980s at Macclesfield's Cottage Studio.
Pete said: "For Paul and I and the surviving members of Tora, this is an ambition achieved and feels like a recognition of our talents even if it's more than 37 years since we recorded the songs.
"To say we are happy would be a massive understatement because we are absolutely thrilled and feel quite emotional about it.
"It may be inspiration for other more mature musicians out there.
"The way music is put into the world now has changed so much, so always believe in yourself and your music.
"Don't let your age be a barrier."

Earlier this year, Pete and Paul were approached by Tom Coyne, artists and repertoire manager at AOR BLVD Records.
Tom remembered interviewing the band for a magazine in the 1980s and always thought they deserved a record deal.
At the time, Tora were supporting many top acts at venues like the Manchester Apollo, The Ritz, Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham and even played a sell out gig at Macclesfield Leisure Centre supported by Amada Cooper.
Finally, after 37 long years, So Strong was released in November and is available to purchase here.
