A flat complex in Macclesfield could be about to get bigger.
Lusso Apartments, of Churchill Way, could gain a new top floor.
That's according to a new planning application on the Cheshire East Council website, which states the town centre building plans for a "Proposed 4th floor extension to form 2no. additional apartments."
This would include a new roof terrace, as well as a new pergola and hot tub proposed to existing roof terrace, should the plans be approved.
This would bring the current total of bedrooms at Lusso to 97.
Both of the two new apartments would be two bedroom, meaning four bedrooms gained in total as well as the luxury amenities proposed on the roof.
Whilst intended for residential use, the flats have popped up on Airbnb from time to time.
The current rate of rentals for tenants varies from £820 to £990 per month. As seen with these current tenancy vacancies, found on this link.
The rent for the two proposed new flats are not yet known.
Macclesfield members of the public have until October 18 to have their say on the plans.
Councillors will vote on the plans hereafter. Read them in full HERE.
