A glamorous cocktail bar is set to open in Macclesfield next month.

As previously reported by Macclesfield Nub News in July, Urban Fox Bars Limited had their hearts set on opening a brand new cocktail bar and live music in Macclesfield.

Now, a Gloucestershire company have confirmed that their second venue will called be The Urban Vixen, and have revealed they are aiming to open this autumn.

Proud to be a small independent business, they aim to bring the values from their flagship venue in Cheltenham to their newest venture.

"We have a strong vision of exactly what we want to deliver with this new venue, we want to use our years of experience in the industry to create something unique", said Director Thom Danson

"The license was approved in mid-July and recruitment is already underway with a plan to open the doors to the public in September.

"Urban Fox Bars limited are beyond excited about bringing something new and unique to the people of Macclesfield and they cannot wait to see you all enjoying what they have created."

The bar will be located at the old Revolution site in Mill Street, the refurbishments are underway to breathe new life into the building that has been unused since 2019.

"Urban Fox Bars will provide a safe and fun environment to enjoy delicious cocktails with friends in a beautiful environment where you can be yourself and show the world just who you area," a spokesperson added.

"Not only will the bar serve a range of delicious classic cocktails but there will be those with a twist, created by their existing, homegrown, passionate bartenders from our Cheltenham bar @urbanfoxbarcheltenham.

"The Urban Vixen will also provide fabulous events, such as our glamorous 'dragtacular' live music affairs, complete with bottomless high tea."

The venue will be open to all (over 18's only), details of opening and exclusive launch night invites will be found on their Facebook and Instagram.

You can also contact them via social media regarding job opportunities, such as a their General Manager vacancy.
