Councillors are about to decide whether a new venue is coming to Macclesfield.

Councillors met on Monday to consider whether a site called The Lodge & The Paper Store will get a premises licence in Macclesfield.

They want to serve alcohol, have live music and play recorded music. All three are things you need to apply for a premises licence for.

The licence would be from 8am to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and until 1am on Friday and Saturday.

The Lodge & The Paper Store - if approved - will be located on Byrons Lane, Sutton Garrison Trading Estate, Macclesfield, SK11 7JW.

It appears Macclesfield brewers RedWillow are behind the new venue, who already have a presence nearby.
