New high tech security equipment has been installed at two Macclesfield nurseries.
Tiny Adventures, who operate nurseries at Lyme Green and the Learning Zone on Park Lane, have teamed up with The Security Hub to improve their safety measures.
Facial recognition systems and advanced CTTV cameras have been installed to enhance safety and provide peace of mind for parents and staff.
Monika Pollard, director of Tiny Adventures, said: "We take the safety of our children, parents and staff very seriously and want everyone to feel secure when attending our nurseries.
"We worked closely with The Security Hub, who are Macclesfield-based specialists, to find the right solutions and carry out the installations for us."
Monika added: "We're delighted with the new systems.
"This investment means parents can have total peace of mind that their children are in safe hands.
"Our CCTV cameras help us monitor the children as they play, and our entrance systems ensure that only authorised people can come inside."
The new face recognition technology allows authorised parents and staff to access the nurseries quickly and securely, while preventing unauthorised entry.
The advanced CCTV systems also provide comprehensive coverage of both indoor areas and outside in the gardens.
John Archer, director of The Security Hub, said: "We recommend that any premises caring for children take their security measures seriously.
"Facial recognition systems identify individuals based on their facial features, offering a safe and convenient way to manage access.
"They eliminate the need for keys, cards, or fobs and are becoming increasingly popular for organisations that want greater control over who enters their buildings."
