The comedy-drama sees an eccentric young woman caught at the beginning of a global pandemic in lockdown in her one bedroom apartment in the big city.

During the maiden Congleton performance, Girl in Isolation was received warmly by two enthusiastic crowds as its engrossing monologue was performed expertly by Shannon Kirrane.

Macclesfield Congleton Road resident Jack Mitchell Smith co-produced the play with his creative partner Lesley Creaser Guymer.

The two first met as colleagues at the Waters Green Medical Centre on Sunderland Street.
