Police officers investigating reports of an assault in Macclesfield have released a CCTV appeal of a man they are looking to speak to.

At around 2.30am on Sunday 27 August, police were made aware that a man had been assaulted outside the Cave Bar, on Mill Street, Macclesfield.

The 18-year-old man from Buxton, lost consciousness following the incident and was taken to hospital. Thankfully he has now recovered from his injuries.

A 30-year-old man from Oldham has already been arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to the incident. He has since been released on police bail.
