A restaurant in a Macclesfield parish has made some big summer improvements outside.

Lilac Cottage in Prestbury, which already had lush outdoor seating to the front of the property on New Road, now has an impressive garden outside.

A cosy wooden decked patio comes with 30 extra seats for the bar and restaurant.

With such a strong Iberian emphasis on their menu, it is a natural fit to bring the sun to their customers, in addition to their seating inside.

Paella and sangria in this sunshine is a feeling unparalleled, and you'll get to experience this and more with their new summer menu.

With Latin music outside, and a slice of sunshine, you'd be forgiven for thinking like it felt like you were on holiday with their new rear garden.

And their menu tours the world, with dishes from Brazil, Greece and Turkey also appear alongside their Spanish-focused menu.

The rejuvenated space can be hired separately to the restaurant by calling 07861383811, with birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and hen parties already being planned here for the summer. Or you can make a general booking for the restaurant via 01625 827962.

The tapas and wine bar is open Tuesday to Sunday.
