Whether you're a seasoned drinker or a teetotaller, the aftermath of New Year's Eve can leave many of us feeling exhausted.
We've asked some Macclesfield pubs for their signature hangover cures to ease the headaches and sore stomachs after welcoming in the New Year.
Nichola Stevenson, the manager at the Park Tavern, said: "Being from Northern Ireland originally, for me, nothing beats a hangover like a filled soda!"
A 'filled soda,' Nichola explains, is sausage, bacon and eggs on fried soda bread, which 'soaks up everything other than the beer fear!'

The landlord of the White Lion recommends fresh air to blow away the hangover.
Jack Bellis, landlord of the White Lion's sister pub the Ivy Leaf, added: "A nice hotpot with crusty bread.
"We're actually serving this for free on New Year's Day at the Ivy Leaf."
Combining food and drink, Dan at The Weaver said: "For me, the perfect cure is a McDonald's breakfast and a fresh orange juice."

At the Castle, they 'mostly subscribe to getting back on it,' claiming to make a 'mean Bloody Mary.'
A Bloody Mary is also a favourite hangover cure at the Puss in Boots, where they insist on making the drink spicy with Tabasco sauce.
Meanwhile, the Shamrock Bar suggest energy drinks instead of hair of the dog.
"In Ireland, they sell Lucozade or red lemonade for hangovers," said a member of staff.
