A Macclesfield farm is promising a cosy getaway, where you'll sleep in front of sheep for just £55.

The Lodge Rural Retreat in situated in-between Lyme Green and Sutton, boasts a near perfect Airbnb rating.

The one bedroom, one floor property sleeps two, and boasts gorgeous views of green fields.

You're surrounded by nature as pheasants, coots and ducks roam nearby. Guests will have temporary access to peaceful woodlands.

It a short stroll away from Sutton Reservoir, and Lyme Green landmarks.

"The Lodge is an ideal countryside farm self catering get away for couples to enjoy some relaxing time together and with the convenience of local amenities, places to eat and food delivery services," said host Matt. 

"There's lots to explore and enjoy on the farm and the surrounding area.

"The Lodge enjoys spectacular views to the foot of the Pennines across open countryside. There are walks around Sutton reservoir and the Macclesfield canal tow path is very close.

"It is a short and picturesque walk to the village of Sutton which boasts a traditional village shop with post office and coffee shop with an abundance of fresh vegetables on sale. 

"There are also three lovely traditional country pubs within walking distance all serving fantastic food and drink.

"It is a two mile walk to the centre of the market town of Macclesfield. 

"Due to the rough and undulating ground, in places within the farm and occasional agricultural vehicle movements it is unfortunately not suitable for toddlers or children."

The rental home comprises; a kitchen, lounge, shower, shower room, toilet, bedroom, dressing room and entrance hall.

Outside, there is a patio with a pub style picnic table to enjoy the views. There is ample parking around the lodge.

The Lodge is double glazed and insulated. It is heated by electric heating.

The Lodge is fitted with a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher and emergency light.

Pre-provided is tea, coffee, sugar, milk, condiments, cooking oil, cereal, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
