Macclesfield street celebrates winning People's Postcode Lottery for the third time
A Macclesfield neighbourhood has won the Postcode Lottery for the third time.
Residents of Kenilworth Road are celebrating after their postcode was drawn as the winner in today's (February 27) draw of the People's Postcode Lottery's Daily Prize.
It is the third time the SK11 8UX postcode has won, having previously been picked on March 15, 2019, and March 20, 2021.
On this occasion with 25 neighbours won £1,000 for every ticket they play with.
That includes one player who quadrupled their win to £4,000 by playing with four tickets, two players who won £3,000 and two who bagged a £2,000 prize.
People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: "Not many people can say they've won the treble but now some Macclesfield players can!
"I'm thrilled for all the winners and hope they enjoy spending their prizes."
How it works
People's Postcode Lottery costs £12 for March draws, then £12.25 per month for April draws onwards and there are guaranteed winners every day.
People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
