Macclesfield theatre company bring two 'unforgettable' musicals to MADS Theatre

A Macclesfield theatre company has a jam-packed summer ahead.
BE Performing Arts are getting ready to raise the curtain on not one, but two musicals at MADS Theatre on Lord Street.
Tickets for both SIX: Teen Edition and School of Rock are on sale now.
Co-owner Sara Hawley said: "These are two truly unique, high-calibre productions from a company that's made its mark on Macclesfield's performing arts scene.
"Whether you're a musical theatre lover or just fancy an unforgettable night out – this is your moment.
"Don't miss out – book now and be part of Macclesfield's musical summer spectacular!"

First up is the Macclesfield premiere of the international phenomenon, SIX: Teen Edition.
An all-female cast of young performers will take on the roles of Henry VIII's famous wives for a 'high-octane pop concert-style musical'
Sara added: "Expect killer vocals, fierce dance moves, epic lighting, and more girl power than ever before.
"It's history… remixed."
SIX: Teen Edition runs from Monday (July 7) to Wednesday (July 9), with shows starting at 7.30pm each night.

There is no waiting around for BE Performing Arts, with School of Rock then taking to the stage from Thursday (July 10).
It is the area's first-ever production of the hit musical based on the 2003 film of the same name starring Jack Black.
A dynamic adult cast will be joined by two teams of local children to shred instruments and light up the stage.
The show runs until Saturday (July 12), with evening performances starting at 7pm and a matinee on Saturday at 2pm.
