Macclesfield: Tytherington 24-year-old found dead at home

A young man has passed away in non-suspicious circumstances.

999 workers were called to a family home on Fearndown Way yesterday afternoon.

North West Ambulance service arrived at the scene at 12.51pm.

Five emergency vehicles were present at the scene, including two police and two ambulance.

In a statement, Cheshire Police said: "At around 12pm on Wednesday 5 January police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man at an address on Fearndown Way, Tytherington.

"Officers attended the scene and a 24-year-old man was found dead at the address.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."

Our condolences to the family of the Macclesfield male.

An inquest date has not yet been set.
