The Treacle Market always comes around quicker in the shortest month of the year.

It is almost Treacle Sunday, so Macclesfield Nub News has the honour to meet with the very lovely organisers of the Treacle Market.

Andy and Becky Thompson met with us for a chat, to preview what is going on at the Treacle Market this Sunday?

Here's what is new at the Treacle Market this weekend.

The dates for the Treacle Market this year.

Sock Monthly, who made their debut last month, will return for round 2. You can find them on Chestergate.

Also on Chestesrgate, and who first came to the Market Last month are Aspro Studios, they stock zero waste Scandinavian inspired white clay home décor.

Happy Valley Honey are back after a very mini Treacle Market sabbatical.

"We lost our lovely kimchi stall a few months ago, but Crooked Pickle Company on Chestergate by NatWest have added the South Korean delicacy to their stall.

Korean food is hard to come by in Macc. But Bottlebrush Ferments are now providing kimchi at the Crooked Pickle stall. (Image - Bottlebrush Ferments)

Sophie Stock Art is back in the Old Butter Market.

Zero carbon delivery company ELOV are having a stall outside the Butter Market, selling second hand bike stuff and other goodies.

A member of the media (that isn't Macc Nub) will also be there to raise the profile of the Market and share the impact the market is having.

The incredibly-named Maccwood Fleet are new on the music side.

Treacle Market stalwarts Annie's Saints and Sinners are also performing.

And the forecast is sunny, which is great news for the local economy.

Make sure to support our town's bars and pubs after the Market.
