A Macclesfield businesswoman has quit her professional job to concentrate full-time on her own company.

In the heart of the community, Laura Bennett-Whiskens, created SYLOA - which stands for Sort Your Life Out Assistant - enabling people to take a step back from life's stresses.

Sort Your Life Out Assistant is a service available to help anyone and everyone, without the commitment of a permanent, full-time contract.

"I offer business administration, consultation, project and events management to small businesses/self employed individuals," Laura said.

"I also offer domestic services to clients – but the key focus is definitely on the commercial clients at this stage."

"I know so many people who have set up small local businesses, especially since the pandemic, and whilst they are great at the core of their business, many of them struggle to find the time to focus on the more administrative, business orientated areas.

"If I can support them to complete tasks they're less passionate about, they will have more time to focus on the areas of their business / life that they love - and then benefit from that return on investment in my services."

Help can be achieved in both commercial and domestic services, from supporting small businesses and self-employed individuals with running a personal business, to completing day to day tasks such as organising personal family events and holidays.

Laura graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Events Management, while expanding her studies in the second year by partaking in an exchange programme in Dubai, involving corporate events. She has experience working with some of the biggest global brands.

After all that, she decided to come back home to Macclesfield.

"The change in Macc was huge (over four years), the growth of small businesses was massive," said Laura, who decided to quit her job and commit to her own business full-time due to the sudden success.

With many still adjusting to work from home or a half-home half-office life, Laura can take the stress out of your modern hybrid worklife with her help.

Laura claims her business differs from large companies which offer the same service.

"I can keep my costs really low and accessible, and available to people who might not be able to afford otherwise," she explained.

"The biggest thing for me as a business owner is providing a very personalised service - every service I provide to each client is very different, very dependent on what they need."

Laura also benefits from a friendly, local service that her competitors may not have.

The entrepreneur has quickly racked up many positive reviews on her website, including international reviews from countries such as the United Arab Emirates.

"Having the SYLOA team available when we need them has been a brilliant support, and one which we would recommend to any start-up business. If only to keep you in check," said one review.

SYLOA are offering free, no obligation consultation meetings to anyone who thinks they might be able to benefit from their services and would like to discuss the various options.

SYLOA can be found on multiple social media platforms including Instagram, and an official website detailing their work. The latter of which, contains all the necessary details, should you wish to get in touch.
