Macclesfield: 'Wonderful results' for All Hallows Catholic College

It is GCSE Results day, and schools across Macclesfield are getting in touch with Nub News to share the good news.

All Hallows Catholic College in Macclesfield, an all-ability 11-18 voluntary academy of 1,200 students, is the latest to report.

Well done Biatrics Soloman and Lucy Ernill.

In a statement, the school of Brooklands Avenue said: "We are delighted to report that the Class of 2024 at All Hallows Catholic College have achieved another excellent set of GCSE results."

"The atmosphere in College today, as the young people received their grades, was one of real joy and celebration.

"Congratulations to all our students, especially those who have made such excellent progress during their time at All Hallows."

Principal, Mr Tim Beesley, said, 'I am delighted with these results, and am very proud of what our students have accomplished.

Bravo, Isabella McDonnell and Charlotte Watson.

"They have worked incredibly hard and have deserved to achieve so well. I would like to thank their parents and carers for all the support that they have given the College.

"We also recognise the commitment and dedication of our staff, who have done so much to help prepare the young people for the next stage of their lives. We look forward to continuing to work with the vast majority of them as they join us in the Sixth Form.'

AMONGST THE TOP ACHIEVERS: Leo Aaish and Abu Bakr-Feroze.

Head of Year, Claire Lewis, said 'We are really pleased with how well our students have done, and it has been a pleasure to work with them and support them over the last five years.'

Chair of Governors, Clair Watson, said, 'We are very proud and grateful for the hard work of students and staff, which have led to these wonderful results. Thank you to everyone for their dedication and devotion to the academic success and welfare of our young people'.

It is all smiles for Lily Rodger and Mathilda Carr.

The highest achieving students this year include Biatrics Soloman, Lucy Ernill, Michael Sleigh, Sofia Grainger, Elizabeth Hartley, Isabella McDonnell, Evie Wong, Alysa Cacdac, Marianna Ouattara, Hattie Jamieson, Blaire Villareal, Leo Aaish, Abu Bakr-Feroze, Raven Gimeno, Emily Brough & Charlotte Watson.
