Machete seized and two men charged as part of drugs investigation in Macclesfield

Two men have been charged and illicit items have been seized as part of an investigation into drug dealing in Macclesfield.
Police found drugs, cash, and a machete when they searched an address in Peel Street on Thursday 5 June.
The two men were charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply, and with possessing criminal property.
They appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on 7 June and have been bailed to appear at Chester Crown Court on 4 July.
The details of the charges, as stated by Cheshire Police, are as follows:
- Paul Masters, 44, from Percyvale Street in Macclesfield was charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine) and possessing criminal property.
- Daniel Sant, 20, from Congleton Road, Gawsworth was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine) and possessing criminal property.
