Man charged in relation to Macclesfield shoplifting crimes

A wanted man from Manchester has now been arrested an charged in connection with multiple shoplifting offences in Macclesfield.

Glen James, 41, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Manchester on Wednesday 17 April.

He was subsequently charged with a number of offences, including nine counts of shoplifting which related to incidents in the Macclesfield area.

James was remanded in custody and due to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on Thursday 18 April.
