Man charged with string of offences after being found on roof of Macclesfield property

A man has been arrested after being talked down from the roof of a Macclesfield property
Emergency services were called to Pembroke Road on Friday, February 20, following reports of a 'domestic incident'.
Upon arrival, Cheshire Police officers found a man on the roof of a three-storey property, later identified as local resident Jordan Wisedale.
After nearly three hours, the 29-year-old was arrested and has since been charged criminal damage, assaulting a police officer and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 6.40pm on Friday, February 20, police were called to reports of a domestic incident at an address on Pembroke Road, Macclesfield.
"Officers attended and a 29-year-old man was found on the roof of the property.
"Fire and ambulance were called to the scene, while officers negotiated with the man.
"He was later arrested at 8.20pm."
Wisedale has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 24.
