A man on a mission to visit every pub in the UK ticked off nearly two dozen during a return visit to Macclesfield.
Dale Harvey, the man behind the viral Great British Pub Crawl Facebook page, visited Silk Town for the second time on Tuesday, March 17.
In just one day, he managed to check out 21 of the town's pubs and bars, adding to the 15 he managed on his previous visit in December 2023.
Reflecting on the day, Dale wrote: "I was back in Macc for the first time since December 2023 and I went armed with a plan to get myself to as many places that weren't visited first time round as I could... and made it to a very respectable 21 Macclesfield pubs without repeating a single one!"
Dale's St Patrick's Day actually started 30 miles outside of Macclesfield, at The Greyhound Inn in Wardlow.
His first in the Macclesfield area was the Leather's Smith in Langley, followed soon after by Ye Olde Kings Head in Gurnett.
Up next was Sutton Hall, which left a lasting impression on Dale.
He said: "Sutton Hall is the former residence of the infamous Lord Lucan and was actually his family home. These days it has been beautifully converted to one of the most stunning pub restaurants that you will ever see!
"The place is huge and they have utilised a lot of the grounds outside for a fabulous beer garden where al fresco dining would be a dream in the summer months."
Heading into Macclesfield itself, Dale ticked off the Dolphin, the Puss in Boots, the Silk Trader, the Flower Pot and Park Tavern.
In the town centre, Dale visited Alfreds, The Fountain and RedWillow, which he had unduly slated on his previous visit for refusing to serve him.
"We didn't get the best first impression of this place on that day but let me say that this was an absolutely wonderful experience this time around and I absolutely see why the place is so fondly thought of within the town," Dale said.
"Not only are they an excellent brewery but both this and the Buxton pubs are beautifully kitted out and serve up an excellent range of beer."
On his way toward Chestergate, Dale popped in the Elbow Room and Pandero Lounge before checking out the Bate Hall, Button Warehouse, the Charles Roe Pub and the Swan with Two Necks.
The Plough, Chester Road Tavern, the Prince of Wales and the Brewers Arms completed Dale's second visit of Macclesfield.
