A Macclesfield auctioneer is to sell a Manchester United top signed by two former Silkmen bosses and 36 footballing legends.

Hurdsfield auctioneers Adam Partridge will be selling a framed autographed t-shirt featuring the signatures of the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Peter Schmeichel.

Two former Macclesfield Town managers - Sammy McIlroy and Paul Ince - have also signed the shirt.

It is valued at an estimate at £200 - £300, but could sell for even more.

The shirt is a replica red centenary shirt from 1978, but many players who played for the club in the years to follow have signed it.

This also includes ex-Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær and midfielder Roy Keane.

The product comes with a certificate of authenticity, which lists every star to have signed the shirt.
