‘Mini mall’ featuring wine bar and Middle Eastern grocery planned for former Lloyds

More details have been revealed about what the future has in store for the former Lloyds building in Macclesfield.
Over the summer, Ali Ghanbari submitted plans to Cheshire East to convert the ground floor into a café/restaurant with offices and a function room above.
This was followed up with an application for a premises licence, with the prospective business named as Saffron Mall.
Mr Ghanbari has now revealed he is planning to create a 'miniature mall' of several businesses under one roof.
This will see his existing company, Tailor Mayde For You, relocated from its current home across the road at 61 Mill Street.
The ground floor will also feature a café and wine bar with a dining area, a fast food kitchen, and a Middle Eastern grocery and gift shop.
On top of this, the first floor of Saffron Mall will be transformed into a private function room/event hall.
Mr Ghanbari's planning application, which can be found under the reference 25/2118/CLPUD, is currently 'pending consideration'.
Meanwhile, representations regarding the premises licence application, for sale by retail of alcohol between 12pm and 10pm seven days a week, should be made by September 8.
