The 53 lost names of fallen war heroes from Macclesfield have been added to Macclesfield Cenotaph.

Two new sections of the Park Green Cenotaph have the names of 53 men and women added, who lost their lives in World War One.

The works were completed following a successful crowdfunding campaign of £11,581.

These names are of people who have living relatives or friends of relatives still living in Macclesfield today.
