A Macclesfield army veteran has opened his second shop.

Modern Woolfare has announced the opening of its second retail location, at Altrincham Market.

It's a landmark moment for the British heritage clothing brand, whose flagship store can be found at the Picturedrome on Chestergate.

"This second location is a huge step for us," said Brian Painter, founder of Modern Woolfare.

"From the very beginning, the local community has supported what we're trying to build - a brand grounded in heritage, honesty, and hard work.

"We simply wouldn't be here without that encouragement."

What began as a small venture rooted in a passion for durable, natural-fibre clothing has grown steadily thanks to strong local backing and loyal customers.

The new location at Altrincham Market officially opens on Friday, February 20.

It will carry the full Modern Woolfare range including handcrafted wool shirts, leather and canvas goods.

Modern Woolfare's expansion follows hot on the heels of Dick's General Store, another Picturedrome business that has recently opened up a second location at Altrincham Market.
