Moss estate man arrested and charged following Macclesfield thefts

Officers investigating reports of theft from vehicles in Macclesfield have charged a man.

Tom Cole, 36, of Parkgate Road, Macclesfield was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of theft and two counts of fraud by false representation.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday 30 August).

The charges relate to two incidents, one on Macclesfield's John Street sometime overnight on August 22 to August 23 and the second on Higher Fence Road, overnight on August 27 to August 28.
