Much-loved pub and live music venue set for reopening

One of Macclesfield's most beloved live music venues is set to reopen.

The Swan With Two Necks on Chestergate has been taken over by a new management team.

Having been shut for around a year, the pub is expected to reopen in the first week of December.

Scaffolding was erected on Tuesday, November 18, as work to refurbish the exterior got underway.

Details of what changes are taking place inside remain limited, however, live music will remain a key feature of the pub's offering.
