New Clarks shoe store to open in Macclesfield

There's good news for little feet as a new children's shoe shop will open in our town.

A brand new Clarks store will open in the coming weeks on 12 Mill Street. And it is a relocation of the pre-existing store.

Clarks, which currently has a kids shoe store inside Macclesfield's Grosvenor Centre, is moving a 30 second walk away to the heart of Mill Street.

The long-empty unit is in between Santander and Barnado's.

The footwear specialists are predominantly popular with children, but they do sell some adult shoes.

This specific store is ran by a franchisee, rather than the national shoe brand.

The male franchise owner has been contacted for comment.

It is not yet known if current Clarks Macclesfield employees will move to the new store.

The old store, which still has the Clarks shop frontage on it, had recently been used as another Grosvenor pop-up site.

The future of the pre-existing Clarks retail space remains unknown.

The Grosvenor Centre have also been contacted for comment.
