Here's what we reckon you should get up to in Macclesfield this weekend.

Don't forget you can promote any upcoming Macclesfield event FOR FREE on our What's On section.

  1. Superbowl

Recently-opened business Remedy Bar and Kitchen is set to be the best place to watch the Superbowl this weekend in Macc.

It is ran by American football fans, has a late night licence to watch the game, and is a bar created with a US concept in mind.

This Sunday's showdown will be the Bengals vs Rams, and the Duke's Court bar are pulling all the stops out. They'll be veggie hot dogs, beer pong, cheerleaders and more.

Wear your NFL shirt for a potential prize.

  1. Music@Mike's

Also nubbed to our page of Macclesfield's latest and greatest events is Music@Mike's.

The semi-regular lunchtime concerts continues on Friday February 11 with a piano recital by Sam Moss.

The organisers said: "Sam is a brilliant young pianist currently studying at Macclesfield College and starting in September on the prestigious popular music course at the Royal Northern College of Music.

"His recital will include several of his own compositions as well as works by Chopin, George Gershwin, David Bowie, Elton John and others. It promises to be a very entertaining and enjoyable concert.

"The event will start at 1.15pm and finish by 2; entry is free and the Angel At My Table cafe will be open for light refreshments and hot meals before and after the concert."

  1. Live Comedy

The UK's best up-and-coming comics will perform at Macclesfield Rugby Club on Friday.

One of the four even found fame from doing Zoom stand-up during lockdown!

Tickets cost £15 for this evening. And you can read more about it in our article here.

  1. Live Theatre

The latest theatrics from the Bollington Arts Centre on Wellington Road is a fairytale classic.

Jack and the Beanstalk starts at 2pm on Sunday, and at just £8 per ticket, the local production will sell-out.

Be quick - there are just six tickets left for this family-friendly show.

Book them here.

  1. Macc Football

In the week Macclesfield FC was revealed to have the 88th best attended ground in the country, the Silkmen need their fans more than ever.

A tetchy 2-2 draw with Irlam midweek has left their promotion hopes hanging in the balance.

Our town's new football club are still top of the North West Counties Football League Premier Division, and have a game in hand, but the six teams below them have scored more goals.

To spur them on against 12th place Lower Breck, our town's biggest football ground on London Road hopes to be a sell-out.

Tickets cost a tenner for adults, for the 3pm kick-off. You can buy them here.

Let's hope the match can seal another three points for the Silkmen. COME. ON. YOU. SILKS.

And that was our round-up of the best events happening in town this weekend. Did we miss any?

Please feel free to let us know on social media or nub any event that we missed to our events page.
