Macclesfield: There’s a delicious new challenge for the family to have by in with this Easter.

A village near Macclesfield are hosting an egg-cellent event this Easter.

The Prestbury Bunny Hop is a fun-filled business-to-business shopfront scavenger hunt that promises fun for all ages while supporting a Macclesfield charity.

Organised by the under new management venue The Bridge, in collaboration with local businesses, this event aims to bring the community together for a day of Easter excitement.

From 10 am to 4 pm on Good Friday (March 29), children and families are invited to explore Prestbury's charming high street, hunting for hidden letters at participating businesses.

Once they've collected all the letters, entrants can return their completed entries to The Bridge for a chance to win fantastic prizes.

But the fun doesn't stop there! For those clever little bunnies who correctly guess the phrase, there are even more rewards awaiting - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes to be claimed.

However, the Prestbury Bunny Hop isn't just about fun and games. It's also an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community. Entrants and business participants are encouraged to contribute to Millbank Drive's East Cheshire Hospice, supporting their vital work in providing care and support to those in need.

Paul Wadsworth is General Manager of, Condor Hotels, and spoke about the event to Macclesfield Nub News on behalf of The Bridge.

"This community event not only drives footfall throughout the village of Prestbury but also brings the community together for an amazing shared cause which we are all passionate about supporting, " said Paul.

Recently, The Bridge faced financial hardship under its previous owners, Flat Cap Hotels.

However Condor Hotels, a leading hospitality management group, are now in place at the property to oversee the day to day operations and ensure business runs as normal.

The Bridge is still being managed by it's original team, with the support of Condor Hotels.

Paul added: "Condor have taken strides to support the staff and the site itself during the administration process.

"This community event is just another example of the positive step forward in ensuring The Bridge remains one of the pillars of the community in Prestbury for many years to come."

Luke Brightmore, Marketing and Communications Manager at East Cheshire Hospice said: "We were thrilled to hear that The Bridge and other local Prestbury businesses would be supporting the Hospice with their Bunny Hop this Easter."

"It's a fantastic way for families to have some fun together while making a difference.

"Often people aren't aware of the Hospice and everything it does until they, or someone close to them needs our support, so it's always great to see communities coming together and fundraising in new and inventive ways."
