Crisis cafes provide a comfortable space, away from a clinical environment,
for those in crisis and provide a safe haven to help prevent mental healthchallenges increasing.
You don't have to be from the Weston to receive help, in what is designed to
reduce waiting lists in GPs and hospitals. Mental health workers within the café are also on hand to give practicaladvice and signposting, helping individuals by ensuring they are referred
to services to get the advice and support they need, when they need it. Speaking after his meeting, David said, "Macclesfield's new Crisis Caféis very important to tackle mental health concerns."
"The variety of services on offer will provide invaluable support for those

walk through the door. "I would urge anyone facing challenges to contact the café and accessthe facilities available."
