Macclesfield skier Menna Fitzpatrick became Britain's most decorated Winter Paralympian ever this month.

Having broken all-time records at just 23, the Macc athlete has a bright future ahead of her.

  1. Macclesfield: Nearly £5000 raised for Ukraine in moving charity concert

Hundreds were moved by Ukrainian pianist Ivan Hovorun as he performed classical piano at St. Michael's this month.

Macclesfield Nub News had a front row seat at the concert, thanks to the Mayor of Macclesfield.

In just an hour, the generous people of Macclesfield raised close to five grand.

  1. 10,000 capacity stadium to host Congleton Town vs Macclesfield FC

The first of two football stories on this list, the announcement that Crewe Alexandra's Mornflake Stadium would host the Macclesfield FC vs Congleton Town match game sent shockwaves through Cheshire East.

This was due to crowd trouble with their derby match at the Leasing.com Stadium in August.

This game itself may well be happening as you are reading this. (Saturday 26 March, and Macclesfield Nub News will cover it).
