A new nursery is set to open just outside of Macclesfield.

Kids Planet Prestbury will open its doors this Saturday (July 5).

Located at what was previously Bright Horizons on Alderley Road, the team have been working to redesign and refresh the building which has been empty for a couple of years, to create a safe, welcoming environment for children to learn and play.

Beth Breddy, regional manager for Kids Planet Day Nurseries, said: "It's such a joy to see this beautiful space on Alderley Road come back to life.

"Watching the rooms take shape and the gardens come into bloom, and most of all, knowing that soon we'll be sharing daily stories, songs and discoveries with local families fills me with such delight!"

Kids Planet Prestbury, part of an award-winning family-owned group, will have 70 places for children from birth up to the age of five-years-old, with all types of funded places accepted.

Early years education and care at Kids Planet is child-led with teaching methods underpinned by learnings from a blend of educational experts and theorists.

They take a nature-based approach, meaning that rain never stops play and children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

Children are also provided with nutritious chef-approved home-cooked meals every day.
