The cost of living crisis is still going on, but one Macclesfield institution is doing their bit to keep the arts affordable, and accessible to the town.

MADS Little Theatre has introduced a new 'pay what you can' ticketing scheme.

The performance collective, located inside a Grade II listed ex-Sunday School, has always offered low ticket prices.

But this new 'pay what you can model' is a first for MADS, and is being launched ahead of the first play of the season next month.

Supporting the arts has never been easier, with this new 'pay what you can' model.

Megan Brown, of MADS Little Theatre said: "Ahead of Shadowlands opening in September, MADS Little Theatre are pleased to introduce a Pay What You Can (PWYC) scheme for the forthcoming season. We hope this will help to make live theatre in Macclesfield accessible to a wider audience."

"PWYC tickets will be eligible for Monday and Tuesday performances, with 25 available in total. PWYC tickets will be limited to two per household. Please note, this offer applies to MADS Theatre productions only."

"Booking opened on Monday, 19 August.
