PureGym will open a new 24-hour gym in Macclesfield this May.

PureGym Macclesfield Silk Road will boast over 220 pieces of kit and dumbbells of up to 50 kilograms.

The new gym will provide 13 more jobs for our town.

It will open at lunchtime on May 31, at Silk Retail Park, Macclesfield SK10 2SF.

Their membership is £12.99 per month.

PureGym Macclesfield Silk Road Manager Tom Coates is excited for the opening.

"Our Macclesfield Silk Road gym is opening at 12pm on May 31," he said.

"Whether it's your first time in the gym or your thousandth, our new no contract gym in Macclesfield Silk Road will be the perfect place to achieve your goals.

"Once open, PureGym Macclesfield Silk Road will be kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment, including cardio equipment, free weights, and fixed resistance machines, to suit all of your fitness needs.

"You'll find us on the Silk Road Retail Park, next door to Wickes, where you can park for free on site!"

Danny Jackson, who'll be working at the new gym added "We look to offer around 11 jobs in total, including two cleaning positions with an external company called Atlas."
